EXERGIA played a pivotal role in the preparation of the Sustainable Heating Roadmap for the Republic of Moldova. The Roadmap was developed as part of the project “National Assessment of Sustainable Heating Potential and Roadmap for Sustainable Heating” which was financed by the World Bank.
The Roadmap is a practical plan, including new measures, projects, programs and decarbonization scenarios to strengthen the Government of Moldova’s capacity to take well-informed decisions to promote energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources in the heating sector.
The Sustainable Heating Roadmap was presented on the 28th of August 2025 at a conference bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Energy, World Bank, National Center for Sustainable Energy, Termoelectrica, CET-Nord, Moldelectrica as well as central and local public authorities, the academic community and other stakeholders.
