EXERGIA has accumulated experience in the elaboration of Environmental & Social Impact Assessment Studies (ESIAs) for 30 years based on an integrated approach where environmental and social impacts of projects in various sectors are equally acknowledged and evaluated. Considerable expertise has been acquired in the ESIA of onshore and offshore large linear infrastructure projects (wind parks, PV parks, transmission network, gas and oil pipelines), most of which have been carried out according to international standards. The aim is to identify the best configuration from the environmental, health & safety and social point of view. The company addresses issues on biodiversity conservation through field surveys in Greece to collect ecological baseline, pre- and post-construction data (i.e. on species/habitats of conservation interest) within the project area. In studying the environment, we employ a large team of highly qualified experts of various specialties and make use of the latest developments in mapping techniques (our own GIS infrastructure).
