Design of a support system for gas infrastructure monitoring
Exergia as a contractor of the Framework Contract “Provision of Legal, Economic and Technical Assistance in the Field of Energy Regulation for the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) – LOT 3: Technical Assistance in the field of Energy Regulation, has been recently awarded the specific assignment for the “Design of a support system for gas infrastructure monitoring.”
The Agency, according to Regulation (EC) No 713/2009 and Regulation (EC) No 347/2013, is required to monitor the development of the trans-European energy infrastructure projects. These obligations regard the EU-wide network development plans, including the Ten Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) and the Projects of Common Interest (PCI) taking into account the Gas Regional Investment Plans (GRIPS) and the national development investment plans.
The consultancy services to be provided by EXERGIA in the aforementioned specific assignment involve the definition of the requirements for establishing a support system and the design of the technical specifications of such a system (and of the related information sub-system) for the provision of operational and back-office assistance to ACER for the carrying out of its monitoring obligations related to the implementation of European energy infrastructure.
